Mark 14:13-15 NKJV
And He sent out two of His disciples and said, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”‘ Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.”
It is simply amazing how the life of Jesus Christ was naturally supernatural while here on earth physically. There was such divinity that attended everything that He did in His humanity daily. Indeed, the Apostle John was spot on when he testified of the Christ that “…we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth” (Joh 1:14 AMP). Hallelujah! Nothing took Jesus by surprise! From knowing the inner thoughts of men to foretelling the events of the future, Jesus was always on top of things around Him.
Once, when the disciples sought the Master’s guidance on where to get ready for the Passover meal, Jesus gave a detailed verbal chart, as in our text today. The Scripture says, the disciples “…found everything just as He had told them, and they prepared the Passover” (Mar 14:16 AMP). Nothing goes amiss when handled by God Almighty. Notice that the disciples met the right person at the right time, doing the exact thing that Jesus had said, and at the right place. Such is the manner of operation in God’s dealings with those who submit to the leading of His Spirit (Rom 8:14). The Spirit of God is all-knowing, just like God the Father (1 Cor 2:10-11); thus, we can trust His leading at all times.
Beloved, the chart for the course of your entire life is known to the Spirit of God already. He has been given to you, partly, to lead you into your God-ordained course: the people you should meet and impact for Jesus, the people who should speak over you a divine word in season for your onward progress, the resources you need to fulfill your kingdom assignments, and the divine mark of God upon you that distinguishes your gifting, among others, are all within the divine knowledge of God’s Spirit. He is your guide into the reality of what God has already planned for you spiritually; and “…He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]” (Pro 3:6 AMP). Hallelujah! Recognize Him and consciously give Him room to guide you daily.
