Isaiah 45:19 TPT
“I didn’t whisper in secret, in a realm of darkness. I didn’t say to Jacob’s tribes, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I am Yahweh! I speak the truth and declare to you what is right!”
Taking from the accounts of the Scriptures, keeping around Jesus Christ not only stirred an endless awe, but one would not miss hearing about the need to believe in God. In other words, the Lord Jesus constantly motivated those around Him to believe and have faith in God. That tells us that Jesus Himself was a Man of faith. He put His faith in God regarding all He did on earth, and He always prevailed. Indeed, “While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God” (Heb 5:7 NLT). Hallelujah!
Christ’s emphasis on belief in God also tells us that He must have known how crucial faith is for anyone to tap into the spiritual supplies of heaven. The Scripture says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Heb 11:6 NKJV). Notice, when we put our faith in God, it pleases Him, and we step into the line for rewards. The Psalmist would say, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God” (Psa 20:7 ESV). Hallelujah! Yes, the LORD is mighty and completely worthy of our trust.
In another place, the Psalmist also testified, saying, “I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces” (Psa 34:4-5 NLT). Oh, hallelujah! It always pays to trust in God. For He Himself said, “I didn’t whisper in secret, in a realm of darkness. I didn’t say to Jacob’s tribes, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I am Yahweh! I speak the truth and declare to you what is right!”, as in our reference text. Should you be in a place of seeking God’s face over a matter, let your faith in Him remain strong; knowing well that radiant joy (of testimonies) is the portion of those who look to Him. God is a good and faithful God!
